There’s nothing quite like seeing the world through kindergarten eyes. My niece and her day-one bestie had the time of their lives at the homecoming parade this week. Hand in hand, they watched wide-eyed as the band marched by—drums booming, horns shining, and flags twirling in the breeze.

But the highlight? Meeting the school’s bulldog mascot. With his big friendly grin and wagging tail, he was the perfect gentleman, happily posing for pictures like he knew he had two of the biggest little fans cheering just for him. The girls beamed from ear to ear, their matching smiles fueled by excitement and giggles, but their joy absolutely picture perfect.
